Thousands attend A Place in the Sun Live at Olympia London

7,458 property hunters attended A Place in the Sun Live at Olympia London 5 – 7 May. The largest overseas property exhibition in Europe hosted over 150 exhibitors from across Europe and the rest of the world giving visitors the opportunity to interact with a range of sellers from multiple countries, all under one roof.

On hand were property agents and a host of industry experts to answer questions at the first A Place in the Sun Live event in London since article 50 was triggered. Optimism ruled with reassuring comments from the experts.

Amanda Lamb, Jasmine Harman, Jonnie Irwin and Laura Hamilton all made guest appearances and visitors could take a screen test to be on the TV show. The positive sentiment showed the resilience and motivation behind British buyers.

Andy Bridge, Managing Director at A Place in the Sun comments: ‘Given what’s going on in the wider world it was reassuring to see a packed exhibition hall – international estate agents with properties to promote and British buyers with the motivation and means to buy’

A Place in the Sun Live is an overseas property exhibition aimed at helping people move forward with their property purchase plans. The event will return to Birmingham’s NEC between 22-24 of September and the SEC in Glasgow between 28-29 October showcasing properties from around the world and bringing the latest information, advice and market news.
