An exotic twist in the final week of A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun

In brand new episodes of A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun, presenters Sara Damergi and Jonnie Irwin visit the exotic destinations of Costa Rica, The Bahamas and Florida.

On Monday Sara Damergi goes house-hunting with George and Gillian Pook on the Caribbean coast of the beautiful country of Costa Rica with their budget of £100,000.

With Costa Rica possibly the happiest place on earth to live and the properties on offer for this kind of budget, it's not hard to see why the more adventurous overseas property hunter could be tempted to this stunning country.

On Tuesday Jonnie Irwin is in the Sarasota Bay area of Florida with Rob and Jan Porter who are looking for a two bedroom property where they can escape the rainy winters of the north west of England for their budget of £120,000.

On Wednesday, Sara jets off to the island of Grand Bahama with entrepreneur and sports fishing enthusiast Ian Walls from Edinburgh who is looking to buy a property on the island so he can spend more time with his US based girlfriend Lisa. They look for homes for sale for around £111,000.

On Thursday we're back in Florida with Jonnie, this time searching for a winter home for Steven and Sue in the Fort Myers / North Naples / Cape Coral area for up to £150,000.

And finally, in the last episode of the series, Sara heads back to Costa Rica to help Rachel and Steven Grey fulfill their dream of buying a property they can run as a B&B for £250,000.

A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun is on Channel 4 daily at 1.40pm.
