Cluttons appointed to sell new luxury Portuguese homes

This summer, Cluttons Resorts will start marketing Pinheirinho Hyatt Golf & Beach Resort located on the undeveloped Alentejo coast in southern Portugal.

This low density luxury residential resort will be fully branded and managed by Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and will feature a five-star luxury hotel, Park Hyatt Alem-Tejo offering 160 rooms and a Hyatt Pure spa and beach club exclusively for Park Hyatt guests.

Set in 800 hectares one hour south of the capital city of Lisbon, Pinheirinho Hyatt Golf & Beach Resort will feature 204 modern designed luxury villas, 507 touristic suites and apartments and a further 265 resort residences. Apartment and villa prices start from £191,000 and 1.3 million, respectively.

A rental pool will be available and will be managed by Hyatt. The resort will also include a 27-hole Championship golf course, various on-site restaurants, a fitness centre and facilities for water sports, football, tennis, rugby, beach volleyball and horseback riding. Owners and guests will benefit from direct access to 3kilometres of fossil cliff-lined beach. Cuttons Resorts believe that Pinheirinho Hyatt Golf & Beach Resort will become the best development in the region.

Robert Green, Director of Cluttons Resorts says: “The Algarve has dominated the Portuguese property market for many years. This is about to change with demand for the protected and less densely developed region of the Alentejo expected to be high.

“As well as having easy access to Lisbon and its conveniently located new international airport, initial prices will be very competitive compared with established resorts in the Algarve. There are five areas along the Alentejo coast that have been approved for development. These resorts will aim predominantly at the higher end of the market and a number of well known brands, such as Hyatt, will be announcing their entry to the region.

“Alentejo will attract those who have an affinity for Portugal at its best.”
