Turkish house prices up 10.25 per cent

The price of the average property in Turkey has risen by 10.25 per cent in the last year, according to the latest figures released by The New Home Price Index from GYODER, Turkey's Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts.

Both August and September saw a month-on-month rises of 0.32% and prices have now risen for 13 months in a row.

Since September, one-bedroom flats have risen by 0.96 per cent, two-bedroom homes have increased by 0.78 per cent, three-bedroom homes have shot up by 0.82 per cent and four-bedroom homes have increased by 0.67 per cent.

Breaking the results down by size of property, GYODER found that homes of 51-75sqm rose 1.05 per cent, 76-100 square metre properties were up 0.84 per cent, 101-125 square metre homes rose 0.72 per cent, 126-150 square metre properties were up 0.74 per cent and homes of 151 square metres or larger rose 0.58 per cent on September's figures.

The index is calculated using an average of 22,500 properties each month from 24 developers.
