Al Capone's former Miami beach house has been listed for sale at $9.5 million.
Located on Palm Island in Florida, the house was built in 1922, making it one of the oldest homes in Miami beach, but renovated by the late gangster when he bought it in 1922. Capone added a front wall for privacy and a swimming pool, as well as a guesthouse and a pool house that housed his guards.
There are a total of seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms and 100 feet of waterfront. The property is currently undergoing renovations which are due to be completed by the summer. The current owner bought the home last year for $5.7 million, after a three-year agreement that allowed the previous owner, who had purchased to beach house in 1971 for just $56,000, to remain in the home.
