The peaceful little town of Gratteri, home to around a thousand inhabitants, is one of the first villages you come to in the picturesque Madonie Natural Park, as you travel southwards, inland from the beaches of Cefalù, Lascari and Campofelice in the province of Palermo.

The views are magnificent, the air beautifully fresh and the real estate incredibly cheap for an area just six kilometres away from long strips of golden sandy beach.
