San Vito Lo Capo is famed for its fine white sand and warm, endlessly clear waters. A favourite for holidaymakers from all over Italy and far beyond, its panoramic views and pastel colours bringing tourists flocking from April to September.
This can leave the small town feeling overcrowded, but the small community of Macari – with only a few hundred permanent residents – is a peaceful escape, so close to the beach resort that it would be walkable on a cool day. This is the perfect spot to be based.
