Location and access are two things that are so important when choosing a country house in Spain. Fortunately this house has both, 400 metres from the road to Sax and Salinas which means you are only 35 minutes from Alicante Airport yet you are in the real inland Spain with a wonderful Spanish lifestyle and a big property with the most stunning views, mountains to the fore and rear and your own olive grove to the east and across the big private swimming pool and terrace.

Built around 30 years ago and in true Spanish style the interior has never been touched since so it wants to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century but that is purely decorative.

There is a large lounge/diner and a typically small kitchen but there is a non-supporting wall that can easily be removed to open up a big space. Four bedrooms, three of which are generously sized double bedrooms and the other a good sized single. The bathroom is fully fitted.

Bearing in mind the climate the majority of Spanish life is spent in the exterior of the house and this is where the massive front terrace excels with loads of room for a sofa and chairs as well as a dining area and it is completely covered to give you shade form the sun when you need it.

The pool area is set aside from the house and has a beautiful terraced area for sunbathing and relaxing and a nice flat area behind for siting a BBQ or a small children´s playing area. The views from the pool are equally breath-taking and it is not overlooked.

At the front of the house is a proper metal built carport for two cars, additionally the house has a garage which is part of the underbuild and is being used as a summer kitchen but it could easily be made into separate guest accommodation.

The land is planted with low maintenance olive trees and some almonds. There are part-time neighbours to both sides but bearing in mind the size of the land they are a good walking distance apart. It´s a liveable house that with a little TLC would make for a beautiful interior and could hardly be better located.
