Les Prairies du Lac is a well established semi-rural mobile home park which is located in the Vendee just a short drive from Apremont on the road to Maché in France where the “mini climate” of the Vendee enjoys 2600 hours of sunshine a year.

The local French village is just a 20 minute walk away and amenities there include a pharmacy, convenience store, bakers, restaurants and bars. A huge freshwater lake provides not only the opportunity for fishing but also lots of fun with various types of boats for hire. A tour round the ancient chateau is a must.

St Gilles Croix de Vie on the coast has a harbour, miles of wonderful sandy beaches, fresh produce markets, shops, supermarkets and many bars and restaurants with the chance to try the local sea food dishes.

The park has an excellent community spirit with excellent facilities and is open for 12 months a year – ideal for long/short all year round holidays. Subletting to friends and family is permitted and the park facilities include reception and security, outdoor and covered swimming pool, bar, Wi-Fi Internet and a children’s play area. The surrounding countryside is perfect for long country walks.
