Mazarrón is located in the heart of the Costa Cálida in the Murcia region of Spain. The Costa Cálida stretches from the largest lagoon in Europe (the Mar Menor) around the La Manga Strip and along the Mediterranean coast to Aguilas in the south. The town and port of Mazarrón offer a range of interesting leisure options and beauty on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea; you can also buy the freshly caught catch from the fish market.

This region boasts over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, and its coastline is bathed by the warm waters of two seas. Over 35km of beaches, unspoiled coves and rocky sea beds make this the ideal place for relaxing in the sun or enjoying nautical sports and scuba-diving, the Bay is sheltered by the last foothills of the Sierra de la Almenara. The area is also known for its wide range of wellness and beauty centres, many of the beaches are considered open-air spas, due to the hyper-saline waters of the Mar Menor, and its therapeutic mud.

We are in a great location being on the outskirts of the town, where you will find banks, shops, doctors etc and you may register with doctors here. As well as indoor markets in Mazarrón and Puerto Mazarrón there is usually a large outdoor market in a town somewhere in the local area. These are excellent for buying good fresh vegetables and practising your Spanish, you can usually get anything from a tomato to a live chicken. Traveling times are approximately 45 minutes from San Javier (Murcia airport) and 1 hour from Alicante airport; we are only 20 minutes from the new Murcia airport.
