Gorgeous, inexpensive apartment in Vera Playa, Almería.

The apartment is located in one of the best complexes in the area 'La Aldea de Puerto Rey'. The apartment consists of two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living-dining room, a balcony and a solarium roof terrace. The Aldea complex has two wonderful swimming pools set in lush well-maintained gardens amongst palm trees.

Puerto Rey is part of Vera Playa and is only 400 meters from the beach and there are plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, a water park, a chemist and other shops within walking distance. You can walk to Garrucha along the beach or cycle on the road or the special beach cycle track open in busy months.

July and August are the busiest months when some home owners in the area decide to rent out their properties for a very decent income. However, both Vera Playa, Vera Town, Garrucha and all the surrounding towns are lived in by Spanish, British and other nationalities all year round.

Vera Playa is near Vera town (pueblo), Garrucha, Mojacar, Turre, Palomares and Villaricos and is on a local bus route, including a all-night bus in the Summer. Garrucha is ten minutes away and has many tapas bars and wonderful seafood and paella restaurants all along its seafront and marina area.

Vera is a historical traditional Spanish town with lots of banks, shops and other services like in Garrucha, also just ten mintues away. It boasts a large recently built theatre with regular concerts, shows and plays and a Convent where exhibitions and musical events are held.

Mojacar is also nearby and offers a wide range of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and English-speaking services. The pretty white-washed town of Mojacar situated on the hillside is a must see and has a lovely Spanish atmosphere and street events all year round. The Mojacar coastline is stunning and is situated between Carboneras and San Juan de los Terreros with many beach towns in between.

Vera Playa is about 85km from Almeria airport, 135km from San Javier (Murcia airport) and 200km to Alicante airport. Almeria and Alicante airports have a year-round shuttle service and local coach connection. Granada, the Alhambra Palace and the famous Sierra Nevada ski-slopes (end of November to April) are less than three hours away.
