Madeira Property Consultants was founded following my journey to Madeira to fulfil a lifelong dream of building my own home—a challenge that proved both demanding and immensely rewarding.

With three decades of experience in the UK property market, I was ready for something new. My love affair with Madeira spanned over 30 years of visits, and ultimately, I decided to take the plunge and construct my own villa on the island.

In 2023, after an extensive search, I secured an ideal plot of land in Anjos, Ponta do Sol. From there, I navigated the complexities of finding an architect, obtaining planning permission, arranging financing, and appointing a contractor. Now, in 2026, the project is finally approaching completion.

Throughout this journey, I met many people with the same dream, often seeking my advice. I realised I had naturally built a network of trusted local and professional contacts who could help others achieve what I had. From that insight, Madeira Property Consultants was born—sharing my knowledge, connections, and experience to help others pursue their own property dreams in Madeira, while avoiding the pitfalls I encountered along the way.
