Murcia Villas was set up by husband and wife team Hugh and Fiona James in 2002 from our office in Los Belones. We started the business offering our clients properties for sale and for rental around the area of Murcia. At that time most people only knew of la Manga Club but we were first Estate Agency to cater for clients who wanted to purchase in other parts of the beautiful region of Murcia. We have expanded over the past 14 years and now have eight offices across the Region.

Nestling at the bottom of the Costa Blanca, the Costa Calida / Murcia is one of the least well known and most unspoilt areas of Spain guaranteed to give you a taste of “real Spain”.

With over 315 days of sunshine every year it is little wonder that “Costa Calida” means warm coast and the unspoilt inland waters of the Mar Menor, the largest natural lagoon in Europe offer safe and warm water bathing all year round. We have 275km of coastline in the region of Murcia, with two seas, the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean.

This a unique setting and Murcia still retains its true Spanish identity with its many festivals and traditions specific to this area, whilst remaining only a 2 hour flight from UK airports.

Property prices in the area have reduced significantly over the past 8 years and we are now selling properties at between 40-50% of their top price in 2008. We have also been working with the banks to sell their repossessions.
