Set amid the rolling rural landscape of Alto Salento, in the Brindisi province and close to Carovigno, this 180 sqm single-storey designer villa was conceived by architect Luca Zanaroli in dialogue with traditional Apulian architecture. Its clean, linear volumes stand within 18,000 sqm of private grounds, equivalent to 1.8 hectares, enclosed by dry-stone walls and comprising a 1,000 sqm Mediterranean garden designed with Studio Paz and a 17,000 sqm centuries-old olive grove with a characteristic pajara. No olive trees were removed during construction. The outdoor spaces are arranged for entertaining, with a swimming pool, sun deck and parking for up to four cars. The bright open-plan living area, finished in total white, features an iconic suspended fireplace and full-height sliding glazed walls framing the countryside and pool. A refined kitchen, separated by an oak wall, has a light vaulted ceiling and bespoke fittings; a cellar completes the day area. Polished natural-concrete floors, double glazing, pigmented lime-plaster walls and Corten-steel frames define its contemporary character. Three bedroom suites, each with an en-suite bathroom, occupy the quiet east-facing wing. The residence is fully self-sufficient, with concealed photovoltaic panels and rainwater recovery for irrigation. Carovigno is 3 km away, Ostuni is reached in about 20 minutes, Torre Santa Sabina and its Adriatic beaches are 10 km away, while Brindisi Salento Airport is around 35 minutes away.
