Condado de
Alhama is an established golf and residential resort in the Region of Murcia,
surrounded by open countryside and the Sierra de Carrascoy and Sierra Espuña
landscapes. It combines a relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle with a wide range of
leisure, sporting and everyday facilities.

At the
heart of the resort is the 18-hole Alhama Signature Golf Course, associated
with Jack Nicklaus, together with extensive green areas and outdoor spaces. The
resort also offers communal swimming pools, landscaped gardens, walking and
cycling areas, tennis, padel, football, basketball and gym facilities.

For
everyday convenience, the Al Kasar commercial centre provides a selection of

A resort
entering a new chapter

Condado de
Alhama is currently experiencing significant new investment and development.
One of the most important projects is Alhama Nature, which is bringing new
residential properties and a major sports-tourism component to the resort.

A new
five-star hotel with 96 rooms is under construction, with the planned opening
targeted for summer 2027. The project is being developed together with Wyndham
Registry Collection and includes swimming pools and facilities aimed at both
leisure and sports tourism.

The
development also includes new professional football training facilities.
According to the Municipality of Alhama de Murcia, the first two football
pitches were scheduled to follow the hotel works, with the pitches planned to
become available during 2026.

These
developments are adding a new dimension to Condado de Alhama, expanding beyond
traditional golf tourism into golf, football, sports, leisure and wellness.

There have
also been important improvements to the resort's infrastructure and community
organisation. In June 2026, the community completed the purchase of the four
main entrance gate structures, bringing them into community ownership and
providing greater control over these important access points.

Condado de
Alhama offers a peaceful setting while remaining well connected to the wider
Murcia region. Mazarrón's Mediterranean beaches are around 20 minutes away,
while Murcia and Cartagena are approximately 30 minutes by car, and Murcia
International Airport is around 30 minutes away.
