Calypso is a property that needs work but has huge potential to make either a large family home with separate guest accommodation or a home to live in and one to rent out. The house has many traditional features, as it was originally one of the main village mansions.

As you walk through the main gate, there is one smaller building on the left and the larger building on the right, and in front is a lovely courtyard space - this is a communal space with the 2 neighbours who currently do not live there permanently, just come for holidays.

On the left, the building is separated into 2 floors - on the ground floor is currently a small WC and a large kitchen area. The upper floor is accessed from the terrace of the main building and is currently a storage room.

The main building has another large room on the ground floor - now used as a sitting /dining room. There is pipework in place to make a shower/kitchenette and could become a self-contained guest room.
There are then some stairs to enter the main part of the house. As you go into the front door, there is a cosy kitchen/living room with an open fireplace. The main house also has central heating installed.

Upstairs, it is divided into 3 bedrooms with another shower room / WC and a large terrace open to the view with access to the top floor of the smaller building.

There is car access to Calypso but no private parking.

Agios Mattheos is a lovely traditional village with all amenities within easy distance - the main part of the village has tavernas, bakeries, cafes, supermarkets, even a DIY shop, a playground, and soon to be a doctor's clinic as well. All within easy walking distance of the house.
