We bought this house in 2017 and moved over in 2018, we have made lots of improvements including new electrics throughout, raised the floors, installed double glazed windows, re insulated the grooves, removed the old oil boiler and installed a modern combi boiler and new water tanks, there is still works to finish and we never got round to opening the gite.
There is air-conditioning, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. a downstairs toilet and beautiful light and airy kitchen diner complete with marble worktop, two ovens and a Tesla induction hob. the living room has a large cast iron fire and access to the pottery painting studio ,though this could be changed if you should wish.
The gite is on the other end of the property , and though it was up and running when we purchased we had our daughter in there originally , then we decided to renovate when she left and didn't get round to letting it out. It has its own entrance and bathroom, as well as a small kitchenette area.
We have opened a pottery painting studio which has proved immensely popular in the community with both French and English clients. We origin;lly thought it would be a summer business, but we have been as busy in the winter as summer. The initial opening took a lot of paperwork and time, hence we have only been trading for 18 months, but there is a lot of expansion plans in place for any family that want to come and take over. Full support and training would be provided , and I have all the paperwork and accounts for anyone wanting to use this as evidence for a visa.
Unfortunately we have decided to move back to the UK due to family and heath reasons and therefore there are some works still to do on the property, hence the price is negotiable.
