This rather lovely village house dates from 1950 and offers simple, but convenient accommodation in the heart of the traditional village of Benamargosa.

Benamargosa village is located in a lush river valley, not far from the coast and from other villages, and the historic town of Velez-Malaga. It is surrounded by tropical fruit orchards, mainly mangos and avocados with plenty of walks from the village, as well as good facilities. No steep hills!

Casa Jaime, just a few seconds’ walk from all the facilities of the village, is ideal as a simple, authentic base in Andalucía and perfect for a place to escape from a busy life, get to know the locals, and explore the region. Would work well as a holiday rental home.

The house is on a pretty street, on flat ground (no climbing up the hill). The front door leads into a living room. To the rear of the living room is a small kitchen, in good working order and bright white tiling, next to it is the bathroom, and there is also a useful store cupboard. To the left is the staircase, with bright tiled walls, leading up to two double bedrooms with sloping ceilings and beams. The front bedroom is currently furnished as a second living room, with air conditioning and quality, double glazed double doors leading out onto a corridor balcony overlooking the street below, and the second to the rear, with a skylight window and ceiling fan.

If a little space from the front bedroom is sacrificed, it would not be difficult to continue the staircase up to the roof level and a roof terrace could be created.

Only very minor improvements are required in this lovely little home, but it is ready to move into and enjoy. Sold fully furnished.
