Well-maintained by its current owners it benefits from an open plan kitchen, lounge/ diner which has patio doors opening on to a balcony, 2 good sized bedrooms; one of which opens onto a second small balcony, a small storeroom and a bathroom with shower. Sitting on the balcony you can enjoy the afternoon sun and al fresco dining.

Nocera Marina offers a variety of bars and restaurants along with other amenities, shops, supermarket, post office etc. A weekly local market offers a variety of merchandise and products typical of the local area. It is also a convenient location to explore the area and other beautiful towns and villages in Calabria.

The towns of Amantea and Campora San Giovanni are a short drive north. Amantea is a busy town with all the modern amenities: variety of shops and boutiques, café bars, restaurants/pizzeria, gelatarias, pharmacies, post office etc. this blends well with the charming old historical centre where you can meander through the traditional narrow streets and enjoy the true feel of Calabria. The marina beach front offers beach bars and lidos and a small Acqua Park, children’s play area and a variety of seasonal activities. It also hosts many festivals and fieras during the year and a daily market selling locally grown fruit and vegetables.
The residence is conveniently positioned to explore many traditional hilltop villages and dramatic scenery as well as taking advantage of the National Park of La Sila (approx 1 ¼ hr drive away) which offers many outdoor activities; pony trekking, quad biking, walking and skiing in the winter.

Within a short drive is the town of Lamezia/Nicastro, where there is a vast array of amenities afforded by the principal town for the area together with a zone of archaeological interest and within easy reach is the thermal springs of Lamezia Terme – and Health Spa – La Caronte.

Other areas of archaeological interest are within easy reach and the museum housing the Bronzes of Riace and many other articles is at Reggio Calabria. Reggio is also a step away from Sicily by boat crossing to Messina giving the opportunity to visit Etna and other points of interest.

The coastal town of Falerna Marina, is just 3km away & features a long stretch of beach and a newly appointed promenade where you will find an array of beautiful café bars and restaurants. Also access to the autostrada A3 is located at Falerna from where many places of interest can be explored with the towns of Pizzo, Tropea and Scilla being easily accessible by car a short drive south.

The resort of Gizzeria, famous for its air currents which make it the ideal place for kite surfing is 10 minutes away. You can try the kite surfing schools, and it hosts many Championship competitions.
