The property is located in a quiet village approximately 10 minutes from Castelnau-Magnoac, a vibrant marketing town with a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Market day is on Saturday mornings and specialises on tasty treats from the region. Castelnau has a thriving year round community.
There is a primary school in the village and the secondary school is just 15 minutes away with a bus service. There is an active tennis club which is very welcoming to new members and has regular Isa competitions with other clubs in the neighbourhood. In addition to tennis, the French rugby captain, Antoine Dupont hails from Castelnau so, as you can imagine, the local rugby club is particularly vibrant and well attended.
The 75 hectare lake on the edge of town is well worth a visit and there's plenty of water sports on offer. It's also a potential destination to head over to on the horses for a lake-side picnic.
