The name of the village is Melnitsa and it is located in Southeastern Bulgaria, 15 minutes from Elhovo and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Burgas Airport. The village has a population of 300 people, has a restaurant and two small local shops. Nice and quiet area, very short drive to the town of Elhovo which has lots of shops and wonderful amenities and restaurants, food is excellent and extremely cheap.
Suitable destinations for recreation and tourism are the picturesque Lesovsko Gorge on the Tundzha River (rafting) and the picturesque Turkish city of Edirne, located only 46 minutes from the border.
