Corcoya is the most eastern part of the Seville province of Andalucia in the region of Estepa. It is a small village with amenities and located about 6 kilometers from Badolatosao. It is predominantly an agricultural Town surrounded by mountains and olive groves. Near the town is the highest geodesic point in the region, in the Sierra de la Cabrera, where the remains of some interesting old iron mines can also be found. Corcoya is well known in the region for the pilgrimage to the Virgin of Fuensanta, which takes place from September 7th to 10th at her shrine, attracting large numbers of devotees. Other places of interest include the parish church, dedicated to San Isidro Labrador, and the natural setting of Gruta del Pontón, a grotto of great natural beauty, both for its structure and the vegetation that surrounds it. About a kilometre from Corcoya, in the foothills of the Sierra de la Cabrera, lies the Hermitage of Our Lady of Fuensanta, surrounded by a landscape of great beauty.

It has easy access to Malaga which is less than an hour, Cordoba just an hour away and Seville just one hour 20 minutes
