Moving about 25 km northeast of Trento, we find Segonzano, a group of picturesque hamlets at an altitude that varies from 490 to about 970 meters.
This group of villages nestled on the wide slopes of Dosso di Segonzano and Ceramont, are surrounded by thick woods that mark the border between two splendid Trentino locations Valle di Cembra from the Piné plateau.
In the town the activities and passions of the past have remained, in addition to the cultivation of vines we find the processing of wood, artistic craftsmanship and the processing of porphyry.
What attracts tourists from all over the world are the earth pyramids of Segonzano. Elegant columns, up to 20 meters high, including some crowned by a large protective stone.
But do not expect the usual tourist resort with traffic similar to that of the city, here nature still has the upper hand on man and it is she who slowly marks the passage of time.
In the walks, in addition to mainly Teutonic tourists, you will also find many residents, it is not part of those mid-mountain locations that have been abandoned because here those who love direct contact with nature, tranquility and a good climate, it is the ideal place.
Today we will visit an apartment that occupies the first floor of a house located at the entrance to the town of Quaras about 4 km from the town of Segonzano and its services.
Totally renovated a few years ago, it is accessed from the external balcony from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the valley and is composed of a large living area, three large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a storage room all developed on 160 square meters. There is no shortage of accessories, a large cellar, a plot of land to create a personal vegetable garden and various common areas, boiler room / laundry room, attic, garden and condominium courtyard where you can park your car.
The rustic exterior, with some exposed stones here and there, contrasts with the interior of the apartment where everything is perfect from the wooden window frames to the floors, doors and systems resulting from a recent total renovation.
This proposal, in addition to being perfect as a permanent residence, or holiday home, could become a small B&B, perfect for hosting tourists who love tranquility and peace even out of season, but it is difficult to describe it, only with a careful visit will you be able to grasp the beauty of the place, and if you hurry even some good mushrooms.
