Traditionally built in stone, and surrounded by greenery, the courtyard area offers excellent space for outdoor lunches, and in the evenings the open plan layout allows the roaring fire to warm through the house. All three bedrooms on the first floor, as well as the lounge area on the ground floor offer sensational sea and mountain views.
Lysos is built 560m above the sea level and from a climate view it has a milder environment during the long warm summer months, without the humidity which is found in most areas of Cyprus. However the winter can become quite cold and snowfall is common. Moreover winter in Cyprus doesn't last for long and during most months Lysos is green as most of the village is taken over the Paphos Forest. This beautiful mountain village in the Paphos district which continues to preserve the Cypriot traditional architecture as many of the old houses have been restored. Lysos mainly belongs to the Paphos district.
