The Centre of Town has a lovely old church and is surrounded by various shops, banks, pharmacies, and so on - it has many facilities wihtout ever needing to leave the Town.
The Town has many Restaurant and Bar choices with new ones appearing to open every year - at the last count around 20. These include an excellent Indian Restaurant, various Italian Restaurants, Spanish Tapas Bars, or even a British-owned Sports Bar serving 'pub grub', where you can watch Live Sports throughout the year.
It also has a medical Centre and school. Albeit a small Spanish Town it is influenced heavily from the Resorts which feed the many facilities here, as well as the local Residents in the Town, which is from various nationalities.
The beaches of the Mar Menor are a 15-20 minute drive and you are just 15 minutes from the new Murcia International Airport - now fully operational with all-year-round budget Airline flights.
If you wish to live in a traditional Town, as opposed to a Resort, and be able to walk to lots of facilities this is definitely worth a look!
