Nestled in SW France, Charente is famous for its cognac, its fantastic weather and its countryside. This, combined with good access from the UK, a laid back pace of life and great value property prices, makes it pretty much perfect.

The town of La Rochefoucauld is 10 minutes away by car. It is a pretty, riverside, market town, with excellent shops, restaurants, museums and one of the most impressive chateaux in France. La Rochefoucauld comes alive on market day, which in this instance is Saturday. The market is lively and colourful, bursting with produce from nearby farms. Just a short distance you will be able to enjoy horse riding, golf, tennis, fishing and walking. The Nautilus Centre at nearby Angouleme, is a water park which will excite even the most bored child.

MAIN HOUSE

The farmhouse has spacious accommodation. Entry is into the hallway (16m2). There is a kitchen/dining room (40m2), office (8m2), WC, and a cosy sitting room (31m2) with a wood-burning stove.
