The school in Polemi serves the surrounding villages too with buses bringing the 4-18 year olds in daily. Polemi has many churches, the oldest being the church of Panagia Chryseleousa which was built in the 13/14th century and is now a protected building.


In Polemi, you can while away the hours admiring the fantastic mountain views, or take in a round of golf in nearby Tsada or why not try to land a fish or too at the nearby Evretou/Kannaviou Dams.
