All the buildings are facing The Pyrenees on one side and rolling countryside on the other, on account of being located on a ridge, adjacent to a quiet farm road. The entrance to the house is from a large, impressive courtyard, complete with its own well.

The house is in the typical Bearnaise style, over two levels (plus attic) with slate roof, double-glazing and traditional window shutters. Each floor has a surface area of around 140m2. On the ground floor there is an open entrance, living room, dining room with fireplace, a cellar and kitchen, utility room, toilet and shower. A renovation tip would be to open up the back wall, which could open out onto a terrace.

A beautiful oak staircase leads to the first floor, which comprises 4 good sized bedrooms with a shared bathroom and toilet. With plenty of windows, the natural lighting is good and the views from this floor quite superb.

There is certainly no shortage of outbuildings space! The grain barn of 46 m2 surface area (plus mezzanine) and open air undercover storage of circa 40m2 and two communicating barns of 74 m2 and 90 m2 (plus mezzanine) and finally a shed of circa 100m2.

The activity in the immediate area is directed mainly towards agriculture (livestock grazing, market gardening, and horticultural crops). The town is part of the Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) zone of Ossau-iraty (tasty cheese).

Angous is located some 5 km south-west of the beautiful fortified village of Navarrenx and 12 km north-east of Mauléon-Licharre, a prominent gateway to the mountains, for hiking, biking and skiing in Winter. Angous can be accessed from the D2 road which runs from Navarrenx and forms the south-eastern border of the commune before continuing to Moncayolle-Larrory-Mendibieu.
Located on the watershed of the Adour, the Serrot, a tributary of the Lausset, with many tributaries flows through the commune from south-west to north-east passing near the village. The Ruisseau de Lassere with many tributaries also flows from the south-west towards the northeast to the east of the village and forms part of the eastern border.
