Full Description

Terrace Town House

This small property is located in the center of Altino. There is a shop and a cafe bar within 1 minutes walk from the property. The property could quickly and easily be made habitable with some modernising internally.

On entering the property there is a hallway with some steps, leading into the kitchen. The kitchen has a fireplace and double doors with Juliet balcony. The next room is a double bedroom which leads into a bathroom with a shower. There are 2 doors leading into the bathroom, one from the bedroom and one from the hallway.

From the hallway, there is a door leading to the floor above, which is the attic. The attic could be renovated into another room or it could be made into a roof terrace with mountain views.

The roof is old but still ok, but it will need some attention at some point in the future. The garage on the ground floor with the blue doors is not included in the sale. There is a large free car park available 2 minutes walk from the property.

The location of the property is positioned in the village of Altino, which has a post office and a few small shops. Altino is close to Selva di Altino where there are many facilities including supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and many shops. There is a chilli festival held in Altino annually. Altino is located just 20 minutes to the coast and 50 minutes to Pescara airport.

Along the Aventino valley, 12 km from Lanciano, on a mountain crest lies Altino. From this village, an astoundingly rich view can be enjoyed. The fertile territory is covered in vineyards and olive trees and has a high production of fruit. The Abruzzo offers springs of sulphurous waters.

The origins of Altino township dates back to the Middle Ages, witnessed by the presence of the typical “vicoli” (medieval alleys) we can still admire today. Altino was mentioned for the first time in some documents dating back to the 12th century. Of medieval origins, it belonged to the De Anchino who ruled until 1534.
