Faralya is a delightful rural village and is a pleasant sight to see with its houses and gardens cascading towards the cliffs of the valley. It is perched high up on the mountain side (1200m above sea level) and is nestled against the pine forests, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea as far as the eye can see and even out towards Rhodes Island on a clear day.
