An interesting corner stone two-storey house in this traditional village, on which renovation works were started but not completed. The house could become a two bedroom holiday or permanent home, within a few minutes drive to the sea.
It comprises two separate houses unified internally. The ground floor is 72.89m2 and the first floor 36.93m2, giving an upper terrace space of 35.96m2.
The ground floor has three rooms plus what would be a bathroom and a kitchen. There is no staircase to the upper floor, although a space has been made for this. On the upper floor are two rooms. The ceiling is sloping, wooden. The red tiled roof was new in around 2011. Around the same time the outside was plastered and stone work done.
Cables have been inserted for water and electricity, but there is no electric or water connection at present.
From the upper terrace views are up to the surrounding hills. Car access is to the door, with car parking wherever it can be found nearby.
The village has a couple of cafeneions and a small taverna. It is possible to walk down the old agricultural track to Elounda centre and the beaches. That would take about 15 – 20 minutes. Via car it is just a few minutes drive. Heraklion airport is at 63 kms.
