A better sea view could be obtained by severely pruning one of the mature olive trees.

Pyrgos, while not a dedicated village, has properties spread over a wide area and is close to the national highway with easy access to Sissi village with its sea front tavernas, nearby seaside village of Milatos and the village and resort of Malia. A family taverna is within a 10 minute walk. Heraklion airport is at 30 kms.
