In the settlement you can find a small hotel as well as taverna/kafeneio and make a nice walk around enjoying the panoramic views of the sea and the picturesque houses. There are several beaches and rocky coves within walking distance. Triopetra is close by with it’s lovely sandy beaches and great views of the natural coast line of southern Crete. The closest Town is Spilli in about 25min drive and the historic city of Rethymno is about 50-60 minutes away.
