Located on a quiet street in this pretty hamlet, in the heart of the tropical fruit growing river valleys of the Axarquia region, with parking right outside the house, this lovely village house offers plenty of space and a wonderful, very large roof terrace with views.

The front terrace is partly open and partly shaded, making a good place to sit and chat to your local neighbours! From here, the front door leads into a large hallway/office area (around 27m2) marks the centre of the house. To the far end on the left is the door to a bathroom (2.7 x 1.8m) and also to the left is a staircase leading both downstairs to the lower ground floor and upstairs to the roof terrace. Ahead and to the right are two bedrooms (4.2 x 3m and 4 x 3.9m), the fully fitted kitchen (3.8 x 3m), and the living room (6 x 3.7m) with double glass doors out to a lovely balcony overlooking the countryside.

Taking the staircase down, leads directly into a very large living room/kitchen/diner area (8 x 4.9m) with large glass doors to the far left out to the patio area (around 8.5 x 3m). A corridor to the right leads to the three downstairs bedrooms (4 x 3m, 2.9 x 3.1m and 4 x 3.35m with glass doors out to a narrow outside patio), and the shower room of 2 x 1.5m.

The roof terrace is a wonderful feature of this house as not only is it a very large outside area (around 12 x 4m) but it is also very private and not overlooked by any other house in the village. It has lovely views over the many mango and avocado trees that grow so well in this lovely valley, due to its sub-tropical climate and is an ideal place for outside living, eating, entertaining, barbecuing and relaxing. There is also a jacuzzi, ideal on Summer evenings.

A perfect lock-up-and-leave house but with space, ideal for holidays, for letting or even for permanent living.

Salto del Negro has a shop, and is only a few minutes drive from Benamargosa which has good facilities and an excellent 24 hr medical centre. The river bed that runs through this valley, just beyond and below the house, is perfect for walking and one can walk for many kms, and to Benamargosa (around 20 mins).
