This small cottage has been renovated to reflect its history. There is a pretty balcony at the front, with a vine growing over it. Inside there is a kitchen and living room on the ground floor, with a wood burning "insert". On the landing is the family bathroom, and WC, up again to two bedrooms, one of which has its own traditional washbasin. There are beautiful views from each floor. The house is being sold with all the furniture included.
Outside is a small lane which gives access to the third bedroom, which has a basin and WC. This is the old chestnut drying room, when the house was a farmhouse.
On the ground floor (where once the animals were kept) are the cellars, and water heater.
There are two parcels of land...one is two minutes' walk up a green lane...(this is where the villagers in olden times went up to collect their water from the fountain....still there!) This land is a beautiful orchard, looking out over the valley, full of traditional old-fashioned apple trees.

The house is in a tiny hamlet, with a great village spirit. In the "mushroom" season you can gather kilos of cèpe mushrooms, the French porcini mushrooms. Lovely walks and rides abound, and if you want to paddle in the river, it is just a few minutes' walk down to the river in the valley. Skiing and snow raquets are available nearby, in the winter, at the local ski station.
Vialas, a lively and popular large village, is just three kilometres away. Here you can get bread and basics, and there is a restaurant. Lots of activities here all year round
