You enter the property via a sliding gate onto a block paved driveway that leads up to the garage and a covered terrace that runs the full length of the bungalow.



Entering through double doors into the living room, your attention is immediately drawn to the beautiful vaulted ceilings. The living room has a set of sliding patio doors to the front terrace that floods this room with natural light. There is a corner fireplace with stone mantle over. The fireplace has been fitted with a recuperator ensuring maximum efficiency and heat from the fireplace.

To the right of the lounge there are double doors that lead into the beautifully appointed and fully equipped kitchen and dining area. In the kitchen there are a matching range of base and wall units with work surfaces incorporating a stainless steel sink unit with drainer and mixer tap over. There is a large, free standing, range cooker with extractor fan over (the cooker and hood are to remain), there is a hook up for a dishwasher and space for a large American style fridge freezer unit.

The master bedroom which leads to the left off the lounge is large and has patio doors to the front terrace and a vaulted ceiling. There are built in wardrobes and an air conditioning unit. Heat to this room is also provided from a vent from the log burner in the living room. The ensuite bathroom has a bath, pedestal sink, bidet, toilet and a shower cubicle. The ensuite is fully tiled and there is a window to the rear.

To the front is a block paved driveway that will take a number of vehicles and plenty of space for a motor home or caravan, there is a large lawn area planted with some trees and this area is fully walled and secure.

The property is in a small and friendly village surrounded by beautiful scenery. There is a café about 1km away.

The nearest town of size is Ansiao. Ansiao is about 10 minutes away and you will find cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, banks and all other services and amenities you would expect for a good sized town. There is a beautiful public park area here that has a very nice cafe/restaurant at the entrance. Once a week there is a general market where you can buy almost anything for your home and garden.

This whole area is surrounded by stunning scenery and views. There are a number of nearby river beaches which are well maintained and great to visit during the warm summer months.

The lovely city of Penela which is highlighted by the castle which sits high atop the city is 20 minutes away.

Tomar is a historic town and is half an hour away. In addition to being a very scenic and busy town Tomar is the home of the Convento do Cristo which is listed as a world heritage site.

The university city of Coimbra is just over half an hour away and is a beautiful city where there is history and architecture in abundance. There are many events held in Coimbra and it is rare that you will visit Coimbra without there being dancers, singers or performers entertaining pedestrians and visitors.

The closest coastal beach is at Figueira da Foz and is 50 minutes away by car.

The motorway links in this whole area are very impressive and will give you access to routes in every direction.

Lisbon and Lisbon International airport are just over an hour and a half away and Porto airport is about one hour and forty five minutes away.
