15 minutes along the Estrada Atlantica will put you in Sao Martinho do Porto one of the other popular beaches in this region and beyond that the world famous surfing village of Nazare.

The town of Caldas da Rainha is 10 minutes away. Caldas is a good sized town with a wonderful central shopping area – some of which is pedestrianized. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops, entertainment venues and markets. Every day from early morning until just after lunch there is a fresh fruit and vegetable market in the centre of town and on Mondays there is a general market on the outskirts where you can purchase all manner of items for the house and garden. There is a fabulous centre park that provides a safe area to walk and play. There is a secure children's play area here and a duck pond.

Lisbon and Lisbon International Airport are less than an hour away.
