This quaint little village is situated to the eastern end of the island of Hvar and is about 30 minutes from the most eastern port on Hvar island which is Sucuraj. where there are several supermarkets and a number of restaurants. From Sucuraj there is a Jadrolinija ferry service to the mainland at Drvenik which in turn leads to the motorway system. The village of Bogomolje with a population of around 100 local inhabitants has a small grocery store as well as a restaurant and locals sell produce from olive oil to lavender oil and cheese. The village is off the beaten track and will appeal to those who crave the quieter simplistic aspects of life!
