About the area

As the largest and probably most popular of the Canary Islands, Tenerife is really easy to get to with direct flights from across the UK taking around four and a half hours. The island attracts some four million tourists each year with a third of those being British and a majority heading to the stunning beaches, resorts and towns along the South West coast.
