Pašman is an island in the Zadar archipelago, separated from Zadar and Biograd by the picturesque Pašman channel, along which dozens of small islets are scattered like pearls. It is connected to the island of Ugljan by a bridge in the Ždrelac passage, and by ferry connections to Biograd and Zadar. The sea current, which changes direction every 6 hours, makes this sea the cleanest on the Adriatic. The island selflessly shows the continuity of life since prehistoric times: Illyrian cities, remains of fortifications, archaeological finds from the Roman era, rustic villas, mosaics, stone statue of St. Michael's Church from the 12th century in Nevidane and many other historical monuments.
