The large rooftop solarium (from which the waves from the beach can be heard), has panoramic views and ample space for dining as well as plenty of sunbeds. Included is an indoor parking space and storeroom. The gated and very secure community, has an excellent very large main pool, a children’s pool and gardens.

The fabulous sandy beach is only a 2 minute walk and can be seen from the roof terrace. The nearest bars and restaurants are a few minutes walk, as is the nearest bus stop. The buses run regularly along the playa (year round) and also to the beautiful Mojacar Pueblo (the old town on the hill). Mojacar, nested in the foothills of Sierra Cabrera mountain range, is easily accessible by road from the airports of Almeria (approx. 1 hour), Murcia (approx. 1hour 40) or Alicante (approx. 2 hours). There is a an excellent shuttle service from all 3 airports to a bus stop within 3 minutes’ walk of the complex. It is one place where you can be on the beach in the morning and skiing in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada by the afternoon.
Mojacar and the surrounding area is a special resort with mainly low rise buildings, lovely beaches and a mountain backdrop. There is a long flat promenade (paseo) ideal for a relaxing stroll, which has separate access for pedestrians as well as a cycle/scooter track. There is a shopping centre (Parque Commercial) which is accessible also by bus or a decent walk.
Nearby is the very popular town of Garrucha with its lovely seafood restaurants by the harbour. Water sports including sailing and jet skis are available hear. There is a bus service to Garrucha or off course car/taxi. The resort of Vera is also close by and there is a water park for children (with again a bus service). There is also a go-kart circuit near Garrucha.
For all ages, there are many other group activities such as hiking, walking, running, cycling, mountain biking, motorcycling and art classes. Part of the Spanish cycling race (Vuelta) went through the resort in 2022. Within Mojacar and the surrounding area there are several golf courses. Fitness classes and thai chi are held on the beach. There are paddle and bowls clubs and many of the local bars and restaurants have quiz nights. For those that enjoy live music (and dancing) there is a year round thriving live music scene.
The old town and the beach resort are very lively during the festivals. They celebrate the past, its culture and the art of its people. Especially important is the Carnival in February, St. Augustine in August and the Moors and Christians in June where historical events are recreated.
Importantly, although British is widely spoken in this multicultural resort, there are Spanish language classes available to help integrate into the Spanish culture and make friends with the very welcoming locals. Roof photos were taken late pm and is in full sun in daytime.
