????????
Deryneia is located on the north-east side of the island, linked to Paralimni and not far away from the beautiful sandy beaches of Ayia Napa (11.4 km to Ayia Napa Harbor) and Protaras (6.1 km to Kapparis Beach). It is mostly a residential area surrounded by many shops, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, taverns, and schools. However, Deryneia is widely famous for its Strawberry Festival held every two years in May or June. The visitors can enjoy plenty of products made by strawberries such as ice-cream, liquors, and jam. Deryneia is a place where culture is met through-out noticeable by the plethora of its sights such as the Famagusta Viewpoint, the Outdoor Folk Art Museum for Traditional Crafts, and the Cultural Centre of Occupied Famagusta.
