Not that you even need to travel that far to find a beautiful bathing spot – the closest sandy beach is only a kilometre from your front door.

The home has recently been re-done, both indoors and out. Only the front door and windows are somewhat in need of an upgrade. Everything else is smart and modern, especially the replastered fascias and newly-installed kitchen.

CREATE THE PERFECT ROOF TERRACE
If you can find the capital, we think Casa Antonella has the potential for one final adjustment that would create a fabulous family space and send its rental or resale value through the roof (pun somewhat intended). The current terrace is a narrow strip that hugs the line of the supporting walls on two sides. It gives you a sea view to the north and you could put a narrow table up here or use it for drying clothes, but it's not nearly maximising the potential of the roof.

If you can find the funds to flatten the sloping surface and create a walkable terrace that covers the whole area of the villa, you would really be unlocking the potential of the property. This huge elevated expanse would give you a great panorama of the Gulf of Castellammare, and all the space you needed to relax, eat outdoors and soak up the sun. You could even put a little outdoor kitchen up here and it would be unbeatable.
