You enter through a wooden stable-style door into a tiled living room (19’3”x18’8”) with a large stone fireplace, housing the old bread oven, and a cast iron wood burner large enough to heat the whole house. French doors open out onto the South-facing rear of the house where a terrace, and why not, a veranda could be put up. A beautiful open oak staircase leads up to the converted attic. To the right of the living room, a hand-crafted high-quality fitted kitchen (18’5”x14’1”) will easily accommodate several guests and its pointed walls and exposed beams provide a harmonious continuity to the living room.
On the 1st floor, a bright stairwell and landing (8’6”x5’7”), thanks to its Velux window, lead to a tiled bathroom (7’7”x6’1”) with a toilet, shower cubicle and double washbasin unit, and, on either side, to two bedrooms (~150 sqft and 200sqft) over superb solid chestnut floors and both have a dormer window. The largest bedroom also has multiple built-in storage spaces that are custom-fitted against the gable wall. 
The chalet/gîteThis beautiful all-wood building from the high-end Finnish brand Kontio was built in 2018 with a natural slate roof and can accommodate 6 people. It is located about a hundred yards from the stone house, is fully furnished and comprises of a living room (~220sqft) with a fitted kitchen (oven, dishwasher, hotplates, extractor hood, refrigerator, microwave oven). Behind the kitchen, a bathroom (~43sqft) with a shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC, and two double bedrooms (~92sqft each) with double beds, bedside tables, wardrobes, and shelves. A staircase leads up to the 1st floor onto a mezzanine sleeping area. The space is not counted into the liveable space under the Carrez regulations, but it has a floor area of almost 15’7”x10’8”. 
A splendid and convertible barnThis is one of the most beautiful, exposed stone barns that you will get to see in our area. It has two separate floors (51’x33’each): on the ground floor, 3 large stables with dirt and stone floors and exposed oak beams. You take advantage of a natural slate roof repaired a few years ago, with stainless steel fixing clips, a solid oak frame, a new planked flooring on the 1st floor, and something rare, fully repointed internal and external walls. This building is located within a buildable area of the local council’s planning and has been granted planning permission, which can be renewed, if necessary.
