"A little cottage by the sea" …. Is a common request for us and now here we have the lovely Seaside Cottage on the edge of Alykes in the south of Corfu, quite literally "on the sea"!
The house itself is 67m2 and the garden a total of 230m2. The house was restored recently and now has 2 bedrooms with double beds on "walled bases". There is a modern shower room and toilet. Also, there is another smaller laundry room with another toilet and a washing machine and behind that a large Linen closet used as storage for all the equipment needed for a successful holiday rental, or just as a walk-in wardrobe.
The garden and sea access are really what this lovely little property are all about. The garden has a BBQ already built and a lovely shady area for eating and chilling including a hammock. The garden gate opens quite literally to the sea with incredible views of the East coast of the island right up to Pontokrator. The sea here is quite shallow making it an ideal rental property for families and gives a lovely peaceful feeling as you can sit listening to the waves.
There is a shared parking area behind the house with good access and along the beach is one of the local tavernas. Amenities are not far away in the town of Lefkimmi including a port giving easy access to the mainland.
