In the village there are several cafes, a couple of well stocked mini-markets, restaurants, a chicken take away, ATM, post office, pharmacy and many other facilities that make this an ideal area to live in as everything is within walking distance.

Caldas da Rainha is less than a 10 minute drive away. Caldas is a good sized town with a fabulous town center filled with a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. There are also cultural centers where there is a regular program of music, theatre and performing arts in addition to various events. There is a daily fruit and vegetable market where you can purchase local produce, fruit, vegetables as well as cheeses, breads, flowers and a variety of other local items.
On Mondays there is a large market where you can buy almost anything for the home and garden.
Lisbon and Lisbon Airport are less than an hour away.
