A beautifully restored stone house on Hvar Island in a traditional rustic style. The house boasts a spacious kitchen dining room on the ground floor with french doors leading to the front of the house. There is also a good size sitting room with a fireplace as well as french windows leading to an area to the front of the house. On the first floor is a large bedroom with an ensuite shower with windows to the front and side.

From the front of the house and via an external stone staircase is an additional bedroom with an ensuite shower room and small kitchenette, which can be self-contained. Adjacent to this is a significant terrace area with incredible panoramic views looking towards Stari Grad and beyond. The terrace has a portable jacuzzi style tub to relax in and absorb the sights perhaps with a glass of vino! On the ground floor is a large storage room which was once a garage but could be converted into further living accommodation.

Externally there is a small garden to the front with a path leading to the road where off-street parking can be found. Also an old ruin with an original bread oven making an excellent area for a barbecue with seating.

There is a local cafe bar that is less than 5 minutes away from the house, which is a vital source of relaxation and knowing what is going on in the village! Stari Grad which is a few kilometres down the road, offers all the trappings of a more substantial town, such as supermarkets, shops, and a plethora of restaurants as well as some great local beaches.

Dol is only a few kilometres away from the vehicle Ferry port at Stari Grad, operated by Jadrolinija. There are a number of crossings to Split daily, and in summer the services are extensive, including a night crossing. Also, Jadrolinija operates a daily catamaran service from Jelsa to Split via Bol on the island of Brac. Also, a newcomer to the Island of Hvar to getting from A to B is European Coastal Airlines which run a 13-minute flight from Split airport to Jelsa port. This is an excellent service and will eventually open up quick and easy access to the Dalmatian coast once the company have ports in the other main towns on the islands.
