The medieval town of Obidos is 20 minutes away and is an interesting town to visit and wander with it's castle and ramparts from where you can enjoy far reaching views. There are surfing and water sports opportunities available at the sailing center located on the Obidos Lagoon.

15 minutes away are the beaches at Sao Martinho do Porto, 25 minutes to the beaches at Nazare, known for it's huge waves and for regularly breaking surfing records.

Lisbon and Lisbon Airport are less than an hour away.

It may be possible for this property to be turned, with permissions, into a family home, however any desire to do this should be carefully checked with a lawyer and with the local Camara (Council).
