Located close to the centre of this traditional hillside village, this renovated stone 65 m2 3-storey house has immediate access from the little pedestrian lane into an open plan living/dining room and kitchen. Floors are stone flagged and ceilings are wooden.

There is a double sofa bed, table with 4 chairs, flat screen TV and wood burner. The kitchen comprises fridge, washing machine, microwave, electric oven with hob and extractor fan.

An iron spiral staircase ascends to the first floor with there is an air conditioned bedroom. The window has a wooden frame and a new electronic roller shutter. Views look out over the village and up to a hill. Floor is paved and the ceiling wooden.

Another spiral staircase goes up to the roof, where a second air conditioned bedroom has been created. This also has paved floor and wooden ceiling. There is a double bed. Sliding double glazed French windows open out to the terrace with new railing, from which one can enjoy watching the vultures soaring near their nests on the mountain behind Vrahassi. Views also extend down over the village to the nearby countryside and to the sea in the distance.

The village has tavernas, cafeneions and a small grocery shop. Much of it has been repaved and many houses are under going renovation. It is within 5 kms to the main town of Neapolis with its weekly farmers’ market, supermarkets, hospital, tavernas and shops. The seaside towns of Aghios Nikolaos, Milatos and Sissi are within 30 minutes drive. Heraklion airport is at 50 kms.
