Description complète
This very unusual house has been carefully and thoughtfully converted by its present owner using lots of original materials.
Over two floors, the ground floor is a large living space, with a kitchen running along one wall, a spacious dining area to the front and a cozy living area at the rear. There is also a useful WC/cloakroom and a storeroom which houses the washing machine and so keeps utility equipment out of sight. The original olive press stones have been incorporated into the design of the kitchen, which has hand crafted shelves, and is totally in keeping with the atmosphere of the house. Another stone has been used as the base for the wood burning fire.
Upstairs is another large open room, leading out to a sun terrace. The room has an area for a bed, a lounge and dressing area, and an open plan shower room with a low wall dividing it from the bedroom. The sun terrace overlooks the rooftops of the villlage to the mountains beyond and is a great spot for sunbathing.
